When I was at the Education Show last week at the NEC, some people were in denial of the extent of self and the possibility that it might be happening in their school

Our existing clients for Psychology of Self Harm & Behaviour Training includes:

Home Office, Police, Schools, Mentors, Advocacy service providers, Local Authorities, National Probation Service, HMP Prison Service, Birmingham Youth Service, Islington YOT, The Children’s Society, YWCA.

Just opened my post mail marked “confidential & restricted” from HM Young Offenders Institute that I will be delivering Psychology of Self Harm training to next week. Interesting!

Self harm is on the increase in the UK. Children as young as 5 years old are turning to self harm as a way of having their emotional needs met. This is a very sad state of affairs!
